SWAN 45-016 BLUE SKY
The Swan 45-016 'Blue Sky' is one of the most successful examples built within the competitive Swan 45 one-design class. Formerly known as Swing 3 and Earlybird, this boat boasts four world titles and has always been managed with great care by the owner and a dedicated professional team, benefiting from continuous upgrades, maintenance and investments.
Designed by German Frers and launched by Nautor Swan in 2003, Blue Sky combines high racing performance with excellent cruising versatility. Over the years, the boat has undergone numerous updates and refits that have preserved its competitiveness, reliability and ease of use both in sports and for cruising programs.
The boat is equipped with a Hall Spars carbon mast and boom, carbon spinnaker poles, updated B&G electronics and an extensive North Sails, OneSails and Eurosail sail inventory, constantly renewed over the years and including numerous recently built sails.
A major refit program carried out in 2018 involved the teak deck, instrumentation, interiors and numerous equipment dedicated to both racing and cruising. More recently, between 2025 and 2026, BLUE SKY benefited from an additional extraordinary maintenance program that included, among other interventions, the overhaul of the mast and mast foot, the maintenance of the rudder, the cleaning of the tank and the fuel system, the overhaul of the hydraulic system, the replacement of the bow hatch and the backstay, as well as complete maintenance of the seacocks.
The interior offers a three-cabin configuration with satin teak finishes, a bright saloon and a functional layout designed to offer comfort during extended stays on board.
Blue Sky is currently located in Liguria and is offered with VAT paid.
